- Decorative fences on corner lots: Maximum 42 inches with specific construction requirements
- Front yard decorative fences: Maximum 42 inches with specific construction requirements
Material Restrictions:
- Privacy/screening fences: Must be wood conditioned for exterior use or chain link with metal slabs of one color
- Decorative fences on corner lots: Must have no more than three split rails or boards (max 6" width) with at least 6" clear space between them
- All fences must be constructed of durable materials
Special Considerations:
- Corner lots: Special design standards to prevent obstruction of vision at intersections
- Decorative fence returns along right-of-way shall not exceed 8 feet toward interior of lot
- Flower bed protection: Specific rules for fences under 15 inches high
- All fences subject to inspection by the Division of Building Regulations
